The main aim of this course is to train professionals to engage in management, advisory and organisational roles in production or service companies. Their training will enable them to manage and interpret market opportunities, assign resources, manage information, recruit and develop personnel and make decisions to achieve objectives in the institution in which they work.
Students should acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical abilities, as well as the tools and ability to manage resources, needed to work professionally in their specialist field. They should be capable of analysing and synthesising information; solving problems; organising and planning; making decisions; working as part of a team and adapting to changing contexts, based on an ethical and social commitment.
They should understand the workings, management and supervision of the different areas of the company, and in particular: organisation, marketing, financial analysis, accounting and human resources, as well as the social and economic aspects of the company's situation. Graduates in this discipline must use logical thought, and be creative and intuitive in their professional practice.

Students on this degree course should be interested in the workings and management of companies; company organisation, human resource organisation, cost information and social and political issues; a gift for analysis and synthesis, understanding and abstraction, creativity and a broad-based view of the world and the company's role in society.
This degree aims to provide students with sufficient skills to carry out highly demanding professional tasks, facilitating work placement with an international focus.
Graduates are able to perform all tasks in the field of administration and management in any type of company or organisation, as well as creating their own businesses.
There are many and varied professional development areas in companies; these include: accounting and auditing; finance; human resources; marketing and commercial research; business consultancy; teaching; admission to the general and technical management bodies of national and regional government bodies, such as the tax authority or General State Comptroller's Office of the Spanish government, the Technical Secretariat of the Social Security, the Bank of Spain or the General Directorate of Insurance and Pensions.
