This double degree aims to train professionals for business management, focusing on the tourism sector. To that end, they receive broad-based training in business economics, fundamentals of economics, applied mathematics, marketing, accounting, law, foreign languages, the structure of tourism markets and geography, among other disciplines.
Students should be able to: work in English as a foreign language; use ICTs in all areas of tourism; work in various social and cultural environments; seek and use information from various sources; make decisions and adapt to changing contexts based on an ethical and social commitment.
These graduates must understand the principles of tourism in spatial, social, cultural, legal, political, labour and economic terms. They must be capable of managing tourism organisations; identifying and managing tourist spaces and destinations; managing the appropriate tools and resources for efficient professional engagement, improving their knowledge and skills to contribute to the advancement of the industry.

Students on this degree course should have a gift for communication in various languages and interest in other cultures, economics and all aspects of business management. In addition, sensitivity to social and political issues, logical reasoning, the ability to work in a team, leadership and the capacity for analysis and synthesis are recommended.
The importance of tourism in the economy and its potential for development mean that the qualifications of graduates from Tourism and Business Administration and Management are in very high demand in by the Spanish and international labour market.
There are many and varied areas for professional development, since these graduates are able to carry out any task related to the management and administration of tourism companies in areas of work including accommodation, hostelry, tourist intermediation, transport and logistics, planning and management of tourist destinations, and general cultural management way, in all types of companies.
In addition, the future graduates' entrepreneurial spirit is promoted throughout the course, enabling them to create their own business, in the fields of business consultancy and advice, for example.
