Presentation: I am a senior researcher (Ramón y Cajal, Literary Theory and Comparative Literature) with a project on contemporary literary urban studies including a intersectional feminist perspectives. I have previously served as an Associate Professor in Comparative Literature at the University of Nottingham, UK. My research focuses on narrative spaces at their intersections with urban studies, feminisms and with representations of the supernatural. I lead the research network Fringe Urban Narratives, have been the PI of the project Gender and the Hispanic Fantastic (funded by the British Academy) and a research fellow at the Netherlands Institute of Advance Study (NIAS core fellowship), the Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies (EURIAS/Marie-Curie Co-fund) and at the Centre Culturel Irlandais Paris.
