The University of Alcalá offers courses leading to official university degrees valid all over Spain and where applicable, throughout the territory of the European Union.

In its official studies, the University of Alcalá promotes training that is balanced in theoretical and practical aspects, promoting freedom of opinion, based on a command of content to grasp the scientific, technical or artistic methods needed to achieve the social return on the public resources invested in the training process in productive activity of future graduates.

Goals and competencies

The goals of this Master's degree are in line with the stipulates of the Spanish Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (MECES) and ensure the achievement of the basic competencies required to obtain a master's degree, following article 3.3, Appendix I of R.D. 1393/2007.

Fulfilment of the goals means students have achieved competencies that must be consistent with the fundamental rights of equality between men and women, with the principles of equal opportunities and universal accessibility for the disabled, and with the values proper to a democratic and peace-loving culture.

Number of places for new students

Total places available: 25

Reserved places: 5% for students with a certified disability of 33% or more.

Perfil de ingreso
El Máster está dirigido a:

  • Titulados universitarios que deseen formarse profesionalmente en el ámbito de la Información y la Documentación, en sus distintas vertientes.
  • Titulados universitarios cuyo interés es realizar una tesis doctoral en este campo del conocimiento.
  • Profesionales de la información que aspiren a mejorar su cualificación ante los nuevos retos de la sociedad de la información y del conocimiento.

 

Criterios de selección
La Comisión Académica del Máster valorará:

  • El expediente académico (50%)
  • La formación y experiencia previa del estudiante: Currículum Vitae (40%). Para la valoración del currículum vitae, que ha de ir acompañado de una carta de motivación, se tendrá en cuenta la experiencia profesional desempeñada en ámbitos afines al Máster, la formación adquirida a lo largo de la vida y la motivación.
  • El grado de conocimiento de lengua inglesa (10%). Esta valoración podrá incluir, si se considera necesario, una entrevista personal. Se considerará valorable un nivel de inglés igual o superior a B1 del MCERL Para ello, el alumno deberá presentar un certificado expedido por una institución oficial que acredite este nivel.

Nota: Los estudiantes internacionales de países no hispanohablantes deberán demostrar un conocimiento suficiente de la lengua española, oral y escrito, en la entrevista presencial a la que se les convocará.
