Classes will start on 23th September 2024.
Course duration: from September to July
The study will be taught online until June and 100% face-to-face in the last four weeks.
The methodological proposal of the Master's degree is conceived as blended learning, which will be supported by the online learning management system (LMS) of the UAH. Most of the training activities will be carried out using this platform, both asynchronously and synchronously. The Master's degree includes a face-to-face phase of between three and four weeks (depending on the calendar), at the end of the programme. In this way, the Master's programme will be followed online for most of the course (approximately from September to June, pending final planning).
The virtual component of the Master's degree is mainly aimed at providing the information and tools that enable students to acquire the competencies and skills necessary to be able to perform, in the most professional and efficient way possible, in each of the areas covered by the Master's degree. This individual learning is enriched by the guidance and contributions of teachers and classmates through collective construction. To this end, the virtual classroom has the necessary tools to facilitate the acquisition of competencies: collective forums, synchronous and asynchronous activities and assessments, synchronous group sessions, creation of interactive content, content organisers, etc.
The face-to-face component, which is expected to take place during the month of July and which attendance is required, is aimed at enriching the virtual exchange with face-to-face interaction between students, professors, etc., in order to generate spaces for exchanging experiences of real contexts of success in the application of Big Data techniques for business data analysis and to strengthen professional ties in this field. There will also be face-to-face validation tests of concepts that endorse the knowledge acquired throughout the course, as well as the reading of the Master's Dissertation before the board determined by the academic committee.
