Objetivos
El turismo representa una de las principales actividades productivas, no sólo en el caso de la economía española, sino también a nivel mundial. El carácter transversal e intersectorial del turismo, y sus implicaciones sobre un número importante de sectores estratégicos, hace necesario analizar en profundidad el funcionamiento, impacto e implicaciones tanto a nivel empresarial como agregado (regional, nacional, mundial) del turismo. La relevancia en el estudio del sector también reside en su potencialidad como actividad productiva con relevantes capacidades innovadoras.
