Objectives
This course aims to provide students with the basic scientific, technological and social-economic training necessary to work professionally in the field of information and telecommunications technologies.
Accordingly, students should acquire the following competences:
- The ability to write, develop and sign technical projects on network exploitation, services and applications of telecommunications and electronics.
- Knowledge and understanding of the laws and regulations applying to their professional activities.
- Knowledge of the basic disciplines and technologies, methodologies and tools which permit them to adapt to new contexts.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, assuming the ethical and professional responsibilities arising from their roles.
- Measurement, calculation, evaluation, assessment, technical reporting and activity planning abilities and other tasks specific to their field.
- The ability to analyse and assess the social and environmental impact of technology.
- An understanding and application of the fundamentals of economics, human resource management, organising and planning in the field of telecommunications.
- The ability to work within a group in multidisciplinary and multilingual contexts, communicating orally and in writing on knowledge, procedures, results, ideas and conclusions related to telecommunications and electronics.

Student profile
Students should have a good background in mathematics and an understanding of disciplines related to science and technology. A good level of English proficiency is advisable.
They should have some ability for abstraction, attention, perception, reasoning, organization and method, analysis and synthesis, and in interest in technology, imagination and a practical sense.

The Degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering aims to provide students with a general and integrated training in telecommunication technologies, preparing them for access to the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering.

- Telematics equipment and systems.
- Transmission equipment and systems.
- Hardware and computer architecture.
