Level 3 leading to the title of Master's Degree. Level 3 (Master's) of the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (MECES) corresponds to level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), in accordance with the provisions of the Royal Decree 22/2015, of 23rd January (BOE 07/02/2015).

Professional qualification

This is not a degree title qualifying with ministerial approval for the exercise of regulated professional activities.

Goals and competencies

The goals of this Master's degree are in line with the stipulates of the Spanish Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (MECES) and ensure the achievement of the basic competencies required to obtain a master's degree, following article 3.3, Appendix I of R.D. 1393/2007.

Fulfilment of the goals means students have achieved competencies that must be consistent with the fundamental rights of equality between men and women, with the principles of equal opportunities and universal accessibility for the disabled, and with the values proper to a democratic and peace-loving culture.

A minimum of 20 students are required to teach the Master's programme.

Reserved places: 5% for students with a certified disability of 33% or more.

Specific admission conditions

Entry profile

Graduates interested in scientific and/or professional training in the field of Physical Anthropology. Priority will be given to graduates in bio sanitary disciplines (Biology, Food Science and Technology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing...) or related to a field of Physical Anthropology (Archaeology, Biotechnology, Physical Activity and Sport Sciences...). Depending on the student's previous training, the Inter-University Teaching Coordination Committee of the Master's Degree may determine whether it is compulsory to take a complementary training subject.

Specific requirements

Applicants must provide a "Letter of Intent" in which they must state their interests and aspirations, both educational and professional, regarding their choice of Master's degree, duly articulated with their background. The Master's Academic Committee will determine the admission of students.

Selection criteria

  • The student's previous training and experience will be assessed. Priority will be given to graduates in bio sanitary disciplines or those related to the field of Physical Anthropology.
  • Knowledge of English would be an asset.
  • A personal interview will be conducted.

Fees

Fees: 1st matriculation: nationals and residents: 2.736 € ; non-EU non-residents: 5.079 €  (approximate information).

Calendar

From 25th September 2023 (11th September for those students who have to complete Training Complements) to 29th May 2024.

Venue

Classes are taught at the three participating universities.
The calendar has been prepared so that the student's movements are the minimum necessary.
